Japan Relief

March 14, 2011

AFP & AP PhotosWe have all been watching the terrible destruction and tsunami aftermath following the earthquake in Japan. Over 200,000 have been displaced into temporary shelters, according to news reports.

Specific relief effort details are scarce, although our long-standing partners at World Relief have begun to accept funds for the massive rescue and relief effort that will be needed.  If your congregation would like to contribute to this effort, you could send offerings to our office at the address listed below.  Please mark your gift "Japan," and we will see that it is recorded and directed as quickly as possible.

You may also donate directly through World Relief by visiting their website at worldrelief.org.  Join me in prayer now for the untold thousands affected, for the relief efforts, and for the Church in Japan as the hands and feet of Jesus at a very difficult time.

Thank you and God bless you,

Ken
