Philippine Flood Relief Needs

By Brenda Higgins

June 28, 2011

With over a half-million people affected by the latest round of flooding to hit the Philippines, our brother, Pastor Gary Castro, gives us an update from Bulacan.  Gary shares the many needs within his community and some of the ways you can help.

"I just found out that almost all towns of our province (Bulacan) and other nearby provinces (including Metro Manila) was hit badly by the storm and flood. As of now, there are still lots of places under flood water including Bocaue. It will be great if we can give away relief goods like rice, sugar, canned foods, noodles, etc. In the affected public schools, I am sure that the students will appreciate to have papers and notebooks. I know that it impossible to help all the affected people but whatever we have we will maximize them to benefit the community in Bocaue. I am still communicating with our two churches to know how they are doing. I will let you know when I receive text message from them.

Thanks for all the prayers.

Gary"
