Your Love in Action in the Philippines

In June of this year, we posted a news article with a letter from Pastor Gary Castro of the Brethren Church in the Philippines. Gary reported that many areas were under water from the latest round of severe flooding to hit that area. He asked for your help, that the Brethren Church would be able to reach out and help his hurting community.
We just received the below update from Gary:
"In behalf of the Brethren Church Philippines, I would like to extend our thanks to you and your congregation. The money that you sent us helped our congregation to show the love of Christ in practical ways to our community. We were able to give school papers to two public schools who were affected by the flood. These schools are close to our church. The total number of recipient is 962 students. Also, we were able to give groceries to our members who were also affected by the flood. A total of twenty families. You can check the pictures in my facebook account and Joff Brethren Church Philippines fb account.
Again, thank you very much.
Gary"

Thank you all for giving from your hearts. Because of you, individual needs were met, families were fed, and communities were helped. That's what LOVE does.
