"I consider the times that my husband was in prison just as a normal part of being a Christian, she added. It is just carrying the cross. This is the price one has to pay as a Christian." says Chen Hongxian who's husband, Pastor Zhang,
has been in prison (in China) since December 2004.

How often do we, as American Christians, willingly risk our own personal finances, health, and our lives to take God's message of hope and healing to areas where it isn't so warmly welcomed?
Currently there are still areas where it is illegal for Christians to evangelize, gather to worship, and even to speak the Name of Jesus. House arrest, beatings, persecution, work-camps, prison. Many Christians know the result of being caught spreading the Gospel. Yet, as American church dwindles and struggles, the house church movement in China is experiencing exponential growth. People are desperately seeking to know this Jesus, Worker of miracles, Healer, Peace-giver, Comforter, Deliverer, Savior.
It is to these desperate people the Loi's will again carry answers, hope, and God's love. This month, David and Jenny will be traveling to China.
Jenny writes:
"It's the time of the year that we will make another mission trip to China again. We request for your support in our ministry. Please remember us in your prayers.
- Pray for much needed good, strong health.
- Pray for journey mercy to and fro Malaysia and China.
- Pray for safe travel within China. Our first destination will be traveling from Hongqiao, Shanghai by train to Wenling, Zhejiang. It is the route that the trains crashed a couple of months ago.
- Pray for the Chinese that they are hungry and thirsty, that they hearts are ready and open to the Word of God.
- Pray also for Pastor & Mrs John Wong as they will be going with us to China this time. They are pasturing Canaan Land Assembly Church. This will be their first trip to China.
We believe that God will manifest more of His glory when we repent and earnestly seek His face. We declare that there will be more miracles, healings and deliverance.
To God be the glory!
In His Service,
David and Jenny"
Here are a few photos Jenny sent of their March 2011 Mission Trip to China (right click and 'view image' for full size).

Worship at a City Church after 2 days of fasting and prayer.
Notice the coats and warm clothing. Even without heat, these Christians gather for worship.

The Loi's visit many areas while in China. This is a fellowship at a factory.
Notice how young the employees are.

Here's Jenny at another gathering.
She's teaching worship songs after sharing her testimony.

Sharing God's love with University students.

This seated lady was completely paralyzed on her left side.
Four people carried her into this meeting.
After prayer she was able to stand and even walk with a bit of help.

Have you ever been desperately thirsty - then given fresh water to drink?
These believers didn't leave this meeting unquenched.

After meetings that were held to the left in this home,
these sisters prepared noodle soup for everyone's lunch.
The words on the banner say: "The yard is full of God's grace and light."

David and Jenny Loi obediently walk where the Lord leads, no matter how steep.
Please remember to pray for and support David and Jenny Loi as they obediently and without question - go.
