REPORT ON CHINA MISSION TRIP
0CT 10-OCT 28, 2011

Praise the Lord that we came back from China Mission Trip safely on Oct 28. It has been a good trip. Due to the late harvest in Henan because of 3 weeks’ rain prior to the harvest, we did not visit Henan this time. We only visited the churches in Zhe Jiang Province. God has better plan for us in Zhe Jiang.

Once again, we witness Holy Spirit at work among the Chinese people. Many lives were touched, revived and changed. Many of them received inner healings and deliverances as well as physical healing such as headache, pain in the neck, pain in the shoulder, pain in knee joints, backache, abdominal pain, wound pain, just to name a few. We have another case of right paralysis able to walk after prayer. Glory to God!

Though the Chinese Government is more open to the house churches Christians, we still need to be very careful not to be discovered during the meeting especially if we (foreigners) are the speakers. To avoid being caught, we had to move from churches to churches. So we did a lot of traveling this time. Instead of having meetings at a church for 2-3 days at a stretch, we had to leave and go back to the same church 2-3 times so that if the police officers were to check on us, we left already.

Praise the Lord that Pastor John Wong and his wife of Canaan Land Assembly Church went to China Mission Trip with us for the first time. They have been praying for our mission trips since 2007. They expressed their desire to go with us to China since then. It was God’s timing that they went with us this time.

They have been encouraged by our reports and by our courage and willingness to go to mission trips even in our senior years. Praise that the church has the vision and burden to step out to international missions. Pastor John and his wife’s views are changed totally. They see the thirst and hunger in the Chinese people and have compassion for them.

Way back in 2008, our son, Stephen, has words from the Lord that we are to go to Zhe Jiang Province and Hunan Province. We were ministering in Anhui Province then. We didn’t know why we have to go to these two provinces, nor did we know how to go about it. However, the Lord led us to Zhe Jiang Province this year. It became clear that everything is in His plan. We are just the vessels. We are willing to represent Him and the Brethren Churches to bring the good news, help to revive the churches in China, to bring them to the destiny God wants them to be.

One of God’s plans for us to go to Zhe Jiang is to get connected to the five House Church Networks in China during this trip. This House Church Networks has 70% of the 1 billion Christians in China.
1) China for Christ (Fangcheng)
2) China Gospel Fellowship
3) The Yinshang Church
4) The Lixin Church
5) The Word of Life Church

We were invited to join their biannual gathering on 10/19 and 10/20 through one of the leaders. (It was a 5 days gathering). This gathering is very meaningful in that it calls for unity among the 5 networks of house churches. The Taiwanese speaker, Pastor Lee, now residing in the US, did many prophetic acts. She helped bridge the generation gaps, called for forgiveness among the House Church Networks. It was very touching and almost everyone shed tears.

It was a blessing to meet the famous Chinese songs writer, Xiao Min. She wrote more than a thousand songs which encouraged many Christians.

God not only open the doors for us, He also opens the doors for Pastor John Wong and his wife to teach at a Bible School and other places.

In God’s plan, we are yet to go to Hunan Province (North of Guang Zhou), We will wait and pray for His leading as to when and how to get the connection to go there. Please remember us in your prayers that His plan will come to pass.

We really feel that we are at the right time (God’s timing), at the right place, get connected to the right people, doing the right thing. This is what we see during this trip. God is GREAT! We cannot go into details how we see this. It will be too long to write. Anyway, you can see the main points.

Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” Matthew 9:37-38

In His Service,
David and Jenny
