Prayer Request from the Loi's (with Photos)

February 1, 2012

When was the last time any of us felt compelled to leave the comfort and familiarity of our homes and literally risk everything, simply to tell people about Jesus?

When have any of us ever gathered together to worship in secret, for fear that at any moment authorities could break through the door, forbid us to meet again and take everything we own?

When did we last meet together, clapping gloved hands as we sang praises; wearing coats and hats as we prayed together because there was no heat in our gathering place?

Jenny and David Loi

For some, ministry is about planting churches.  Others minister by preaching in them.  David and Jenny Loi have a different calling, a different ministry.  Their immeasurable calling is to take a living, saving, delivering, and healing Jesus to the seeking people of China.  And Jesus never fails to show Himself faithful through their efforts.

The Loi's do this twice a year, and at their age this isn't an easy expedition.  Yet they go because they are called.  Please read the prayer request we received from the Loi's concerning their upcoming ministry trip to China.  And remember to support and pray for David and Jenny as they sow eternal seeds of Christ's love into the lives of the waiting people of China.

Greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

We plan to go to China Mission Trip on 2/15--3/8. Please remember us in your prayers.

1) Pray for journey mercy to and from China and Malaysia and safe travel within China.

2) Pray for us to have good, strong health.

3) Pray for the Chinese people to thirst and hunger for God's Word and be receptive to the gospel.

4) Pray that the police offices are kept away from our meeting areas.
We received words that someone reported to the police and they warned them that they will take away the things from the church if the Christians continue to meet.

We expect to see more of God's glory in China.

In His Service,

David and Jenny
