Pastor Paul Stanley

Paul Stanley is the Senior Pastor of Carson Oaks Community Church located in Stockton, California. Paul graduated from Ashland Theological Seminary with an M.Div in 2005.  He and his wife Barbara have been married 17 years and they have one son, Caleb. They love living and serving God in an area where they can experience God's creation either at the beach, or in the Sierra Nevada Mountains in just a short drive!
Paul's passion is seeing people understand who they are in Christ and seeing them become what God has created them to be. Paul is looking forward to worshipping God at Engage and is looking forward to seeing the love and understanding of the true God fall on young men and women who are purposed to take their generation by storm!

Youth Workers' Speaker

Chris Folmsbee

"Joining us at Engage Conference to work exclusively with our youth advisors is Chris Folmsbee. Chris is an author, speaker, volunteer youth worker, youth ministry consultant and the director of Barefoot Ministries a non-profit youth ministry training and publishing company located in Kansas City. Barefoot exists to help youth workers guide students into Christian formation for the mission of God. Chris also works with Youthfront, a Kansas City based youth ministry organization called to bring youth into a growing relationship with Jesus.

Chris is the author of several books and dozens of articles. He recently finished a book called, Story, Signs and Sacred Rythms: A Narrative Approach to Youth Ministry and is currently working on a free digital book called, God is Loud a book design to help middle school and high school students engage the mission of God in new and challenging ways.
Chris was a youth pastor for 12 years in OH, NY and MN and now is a volunteer youth worker at Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, KS where he serves as a high school small group leader. He lives with his wife and three children in Overland Park, KS.
Chris is joining us at Engage to help us focus on advisors and offer them resources/training that is exclusively for them. Be sure to join him each morning of conference for exciting discussions and resources about the future of student ministry."
