We wish you a Happy Thanksgiving, and pray that you are as filled with gratitude as we are this season!
Okay, I've taken a moment to pause and consider this important question. Now I'm sharpening the carving knives!
Love it!!! Sorry turkey; not to sound uncaring - but that's the way it's always been.
I’m still wondering if this is a bit of holiday humor. While I certainly respect vegetarianism/veganism as an ethical position, appealing to Jesus’ dietary example to support it is problematic. In addition to dining (presumably) each Passover on sheep or goat, When the resurrected Jesus requested food from those who knew him best, His first disciples provided him with fish and honeycomb. Such things are off limits today to most vegetarians and all vegans. While it’s one thing to argue that Jesus forbade (unnecessary?) violence, apparently this did not preclude killing animals for human consumption.
Cole, this is without a doubt a bit of holiday humor.
A very small bit of humor.
