NATIONAL BOARD of OVERSIGHT (NBO)

The National Board of Oversight serves to examine and approve candidates for ordination in The Brethren Church. In addition to examining, the board also serves as a final appeal option for cases of regional discipline over Brethren Elders and Brethren congregations. 


The team is made up of a Brethren theologian, two persons from every Regional Leadership team, and a representative of the Brethren Church National Office. You can contact the NBO chair by email (nbo@brethrenchurch.org).
