Pastor Appreciation Month
OCTOBER is Pastor Appreciation Month.
We sincerely want to thank all of our Brethren pastors and leaders for their dedication, their endless hours of service and their great love for Jesus and His people. Please know that we love you and you are constantly in our prayers. We are grateful that the Lord has chosen you to lead us.
God’s Word says:
1 Thessalonians 5:12-13 (NIV) Now we ask you, brothers, to respect those who work hard among you, who are over you in the Lord and who admonish you. Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work. Live in peace with each other.
1 Timothy 5:17 (NIV) The elders who direct the affairs of the church well are worthy of double honor, especially those whose work is preaching and teaching.
So we’re asking you to tell us what does YOUR pastor mean to you? How will YOU honor your pastor this month? Let us know by leaving us a comment below and we might share your story with others!
Here are a few resources we’ve discovered that might help you appreciate your pastor.
